Viberg Boots - Reviews, appreciation, news - share yours

Yeah doesn't seem too bad in the grand scheme of things. It does take a job from ~$200 to ~$300, which is a decent percentage more. I haven't tried anyone else for resoling Vibergs since the guys at Unsung are such great people to deal with, so I don't know how they would compare to anyone...

Unsung charges $100 extra over their regular resole charges because he has to stitch the outsole on by hand.

    Truman Boots

I wear the same size in both. The Truman 79 last is pretty narrow in the toebox and going half down from brannock for me leaves probably a smaller amount of space in front of the toes than I prefer. With you being over a 10 on the brannock, going with a 9.5 in the truman 79 might not work out...

With the Brandle stuff being available soon, have you guys figured out the sizing guidance yet? Would I take the same size as the HNW or will it be true to brannock?

First morning walk with the dome boots today. This bison leather is real soft and pliable right away. Great choice for someone that wants a tough leather that takes a scuff well but doesn't want to deal with breaking in a stiffer leather. Hit them with a brush to knock the dust off and took...

So now that info and pics are slowly coming out from boot camp, any info on Brandle that you guys can tell us? Leathers, sizing, anything really. Is the $1000-$1400 price range depending on leather selection floating out on the internet correct?

Morning walk in the chestnut oiled latigo MTOs today. Break in went a lot easier than I thought it would with how the leather started out so stiff.

Funny, I'm wearing a pair of 2030s and when I looked down at them they do kind of look like sausages that come to a point.
