    my observations come from the safest place in the world to ride bikes - the netherlands. most people there ride bikes at least once a week whether to get to work, to visit friends, to do groceries, etc. those same people also never wear helmets which draws the conclusion that helmets are not...

    it looks like there may be a divot in your right shoulder however it's worth checking more closely because otherwise, i think it fits ok. the trousers definitely need a hem. the trousers are more slim than i'd like them however they're not excessive. check that shoulder out. in the meantime...

    speaking of snakes and bikes, i tried nudging this one off of the road on friday afternoon and it was not happy. it even struck my tire and then seemed confused at what happened. thankfully, the little rat snake went on its way and was safe.

    a friend of mine and i took the day off and spent the entire day on the bike. we rode to the bike to work day pitstop and then headed out for a long day. the flat towpath made the mileage easier.

    I had Bedo resole a pair of my shoes and the work was great. It was just too expensive for the caliber of shoe that I had done. That being said, they still look awesome.

    i think the fit is fine and wouldn't go slim. shorten the sleeves and hem the trousers and roll with the outfit!
