Loden shoes - what to wear them with?

About two years ago I bought a pair of Carmina loden officer boots. I’ve barely ever worn them - these have been one of those “nice to look at” purchases. I really hate them with dark denim, and they just seem to clash with every color. Wondering how people pull these off in a last ditch...

Quentin Havana today - my guess is the Quentin will become one of the sought after classics. I was one of the hammer haters at first but I’ve grown to really like this frame

Both great - depends on your skin tone probably, but argyle is one of my favorites

there’s enough drama here to fuel a new reality tv show. Who would have thought a forum that circlejerks sub-$1k glasses could manage that…

Correct. Both legally and ethically, the better practice is to link the thread/website where the picture is posted but not the actual image itself.

Rover to me is kind of a blah color. You’re right in that it isn’t as bright as it appears under product photography light, but that bottle green with heavy yellow undertones (almost shamrock green) isn’t the most sophisticated color. I think it had a novelty effect, but now that almost...

Oh I see. Yeah, new black is supposed to be orange. I guess they decided they reached too many black numbered editions where now they need to start again

slate isn’t typical black btw - slate is like a marble black white, but it’s subtle and not obnoxious. A top 5 color for me - I’d get the molino if they were a tad wider

Yeah, but with those kind of cateye angles, if the fit isn’t perfect it looks like you are trying on your much smaller girlfriend’s glasses for fun. With those, they are meant to look a little bit oversized such that the temples kind of flare past the side of your head. With these, they are...

Perhaps with redefining gender roles it’ll happen someday, but for today, men tend to push the boundary of a uniform, while women can work off a clean, uniformless canvas. That said, I have less of a fashion issue with those glasses as a fit issue. They look way too small.

Much bigger than a fellini, more like an Enzo I think but even wider. I actually think they are most like a Quentin They also had a few other colors… here’s a green tortoise (which maybe looks best but not nearly as cool)

They are very different. In some ways, I think “quality” is better in that they have titanium wirecore so won’t have the oxidation issues and are much lighter. But the acetate on these is also much much lighter feeling - that could be a benefit if you factor in ergonomics, but they definitely...

Just released Akoni frames - pretty nice but not sure I think the price point of these justifies itself given these are now more expensive than jmm…

Most of the frames have detailing that is more similar to jmm last frontier, yet most are cheaper than lf frames, so from that perspective they aren’t that bad (of course some people think lf frames are insanity so yeah)
