I don’t think SS is out of the running as a decent suiting option but it’s no longer the clear front runner in the bang-for-your-buck category, where it was formerly the uncontested #1 for people who didn’t have a cheap, skilled tailor living next door to them.

    Eidos Napoli

I don’t think eidos ever had a strong enough following to merit counterfeiters but Antonio could probably tell you by looking at this.

Hey Kevin, and more shirts coming in for spring/summer? I need some button downs without a pocket and I think Cavour is the only place that still sells those.

I'm doing my part! And thanks for the intel - I'll probably skip seeing as you can usually find Kiton a 60% off on MR P.

Anyone ever been to a Kiton SS at SH before? I've been burned by a few Isaia SS where the discounts are meager and the selection is poor.

Ding my damndest to revive this thread: PT Torino Sample Sale at 182 Lafayette is worth popping into if you need some pants/jeans. Basics are $50, dress pants are $75. A few knitwear/tailoring samples as well. Lots of selection. Today is the last day.

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

For anyone still on the fence, NMWAxSC is the best value tailoring on the market right now, IMHO. SuSu used to be the winner on price alone but they've increased that drastically in the last few years and culled their options/nicer fabrics. There are some others who come close (S&M is a great...

I have done this before to a jacket that has sleeves too short. Looks fine if done by a skilled tailor, and I would assume Tony is very skilled.

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

LMSM = le Mont St. Michael PWVC = Private White V.C. I understand that Drake's nails the "look" better than anyone else, but IME Private White clothes are all of very high quality and borderline "over-engineered." They put a lot of thought into construction to ensure a long life. Haven't...

I have a LMSM cotton chore jacket that I love, and a wool one from PWVC that's also great. Never owned a drakes chore jacket, but I'd plug those two other brands as great value for the price.
