Where do you go for classic menswear and tailoring in the UK?

Pleasure. It should be quite easy to return the items, if unwanted. I would advise going to London one day to visit these shops - albeit some are only online - to see what they are like 'in the flesh'. I would also add SEH Kelly on the list. Paul makes fantastic coats for a very attractive...

If I had the financial means, I would opt for Chittleborough & Morgan

SuitSupply London for a wedding suit - does it fit?

If your budget is £1,500 or so, I would advise heading to Anglo-Italian. Alternatively, if you wanted to save some money for shoes, a shirt and a tie, I would then go with Natalino.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I received my first pair of Green, Piccadilly in black grain. I am quite fond of the grain pattern because it almost looks like an exotic skin.

I am not quite sure whether the tenor of your post was adequate for your claim when you have evidently not researched the brand that you so vehemently besmirch. Have you visited their shop and try their clothes? People find inspiration from other brands, A.I. loves the Italian suits and they...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Dear all, And I finally plunged further into the rabbit hole. I purchased the Piccadilly in Black Grain last weekend. Because my right foot's kick was more prominent than the left, the salesperson kindly told me that they could accommodate. This will take a few days, undoubtedly. The price tag...

What's wrong with my MTM suit jacket?

Considering the result, I would also ask for a refund. If you live near a Spier & Mackay store, or a Suit Supply, I would get a ready-to-wear suit from there which may just be ready for the occasion, especially if you do stress out the urgency of the situation.

Thank you kindly! I hope that they will make that S/S 24 charcoal suit in db.

Their S/S 24 features a db jacket which I have not seen on their website. Did anyone get one?

    Poszetka brand – experience?

No experience buying from them but for the price, wouldn't it be more 'better' to get something for either Spier & Mackay or Natalino? Does anyone have a sport coat from all three brands and could offer a point of comparison - in regards to drape, comfort and quality?

Berluti for shoes. Camps de Luca for bespoke suits. Cifonelli for suits - if you like their shoulder. Corthay for shoes. JM Weston for shoes. Mes chaussettes rouges for socks: they sell Bresciani, Gammarelli and Mazarin... They also sell Simonnot Godard pocket squares.

Are you based in London? If so, visit their shop around Oxford Circus. At that price range, I think that it beats all of its competitors based in the U.K. What I do like about the brand is that Nathan and his team are always keen to improve their products and will change mills if it is best for...

Are you the best dressed person at your job?

I think that by 'best dressed' the understanding would be professional attire for the workplace. Now, granted, what constitutes professional has changed a lot lately, especially after COVID. Some countries will be more lax regarding wearing a suit every working day at the office. In Japan, I...

Hi, Does anyone have the Harley in their 'Black Piccolo'? I do wonder what the fit is like and whether the grain is very much visible.

I feel like it has become a recent staple of men's wardrobe. While there is not anything particularly original about it, it has the features of a classic over-shirt, the fabric is great and having an inside pocket is a huge plus.

Navy tropical wool suit for the 'crease-free' magic and the beige brown glen check for me. I have coveted the latter in a heavier fabric for a while but I don't have enough S/S clothing, that will be a good excuse to purchase one.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I really like the black grain from E.G. on the 184 as it gives it more versatility, in my opinion, to wear these with smart trousers, chinos or jeans. The Lobb are stunning though.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Thank you all for your advice. The vamp looks as high as the C&J Cavendish from what I can observe, which is, as you highlighted, a perfect shoe for casual and tailoring. I am considering their black grain in particular, on their 184 last. Your shoes look fantastic @Jmr928 and I am surprised...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Dear E.G. lovers, I am a loyal Crockett & Jones loyal customer but with their recent price increase, I am consequently reconsidering my pledge to the brand and I am now eyeing Edward Green. I have a large enough collection of shoes but I am 'missing' a black loafer. I really like their...
