Cxl will stretch more than the suede. That’s my experience with a suede and a cxl pair of Ottawas.

I’ve set off metal detectors regularly in mine, but usually an explanation or removal of the boots is sufficient. Worst case is having to remove your shoes in a situation you might not otherwise be required to.

Light Oxford and Royal Twill are both pretty light and flexible. I wouldn’t call them stretchy though. The linen-cotton shirts are awesome if you run hot, but they are some of the least flexible. The fabric on those doesn’t have much give to it.

It is frustrating that some of the shirt fabrics are “risky” when it comes to shrinkage. That said, based on the scale of the business, I’m not sure how much trial and error for shrinkage is in place prior to release for new fabrics. I appreciate that Rick continues to source new and different...

Badly wish I had slightly smaller feet! If anyone is considering these, I can attest that audog is great to buy from. This is a stellar deal.

I should add, they’re great pants.

I have them, and they’re a true medium blue. There’s enough contrast to wear them with a navy coat. That said, I prefer to wear them with a patterned jacket which includes some blue rather than blue head to toe.

T-shirts - I really would love a light grey tshirt similar or better quality to the first run BUT with a deeper v neck, so I can use them as undershirts without them showing. I typically wear your Oxford shirts with the top two button undone. I realize this is very specific, but wanted to put it...

For everyone worried about shirt shrinkage, my personal rule that has worked well so far is to order one sleeve length longer IF the cloth is 100% cotton (including Oxford and LW Oxford). If it’s linen or linen blend (sure hope those come back) I order my regular sleeve length. If it matters I’m...

Up to you, but I always just leave both the top two buttons undone.

Ok...decisions. I have the green polo coat in my regular jacket size, which works good with an Oxford and thin sweater, but less so with a FW weight sport coat. I’d like to pick up a coat one size up for thicker layering and more freedom of movement. Would you go with the DB coat (probably...

I’m no expert, but I’m able to do a full day of office work activities in mine. This means driving, typing, leading meetings, going out to lunch, and all the movement these activities imply without being uncomfortable. This does not mean that at all times during these activities I look like...

Have you considered the dune or bourbon loafers? I received my first pair of Travelers yesterday, and they are great and seem to match what you‘re describing. In my same Leo size (9D) they have bit more room next to my small toe, and a bit snugger instep. Heel locks in well.

Calf loafers on the way! Hoping I don’t regret not getting the more casual leathers, but thought these will be easier to wear to the office and church. I’m excited to try these.
