    Antonio Meccariello Shoes

AM Friday. These were my first pair from Antonio. They light up with this much direct sunlight.

Taking these for a spin. They didn't jive well with security and had to come off. Probably due to the tank-like construction... 😂

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I think not a lot of people really need different sizes because the differences between feet are not as meaningful, or they haven't given it much thought. In any case, it sound like you have explored the possibility enough (and the RLPL pair on the same last certainly helped on this), that...

My advice would be to go for those that fit you better. Quality-wise rest assured that they are all good. Some may have more handiwork, others better finishing or design, but longer term you'll really care (and feel) the fit. By all means, if it's something you like, spend the time getting...

    Antonio Meccariello Shoes

I bought a pair from Vass years ago, but it didn't really fit me, so I sold it over ebay. I thought it was pretty good, but didn't love it (can't really put my finder on why) and ended up going down a different path. TLB Artista I have a pair and wear it on rainy days, as I like the rubber...

It depends on the last. If Hawksbill, most people would go for 0.5 size bigger than their "standard" English size, so in your case, 6.5. But it's a good idea to take your A B C measurements as described on AM's website and connect with them for suggested sizing.

I own EG, CJ (hand grade and bench grade), AM (Aurum and Argentum), JLP (just a suede pair), among others, and previously had GG. And very much agree that my EG are second to none when it comes to leather quality. My black Chelseas are my easiest shoes to bring to a shine by a wide margin.

Thanks for the kind response. I was actually making a joke in response to another comment (see below). With that said, and having been experimenting with a number of great brands over the past few years, I think one would be better off prioritizing fit over "prestige" or whatever. Jokes aside...

Based on what I've been seen on multiple threads, people have decided not to wait for cooler weather. Boot game has been going strong! I took a pair for a spin in the wet weather today myself.

** Quintessential Crockett & Jones Thread ** (reviews, quality, etc...)

Totally agree. I don't size down myself. I have a pair of suede Cavendish 2 that is super comfortable. Minimal heel slip after breaking them in, but barely noticeable. They have to be one of my most comfortable pairs, and I barely feel them there. Then recently I got a pair of the same model...

It seems like your situation is different from most people's because of the width of your feet. It doesn't make going down one size between U.S. and U.K. wrong (e.g. 12US to 11UK), just not the right solution for you (and those in a similar situation). For me, I go down one size even for shoes...

This 👆 I am probably closer to the "shorter sole life" end of the spectrum as my commute involves a little driving, but then walking to the train station, walking to the office building, walking to meetings, etc. Just for perspective, I have a rotation, albeit nowhere near...
