    The Official Dieworkwear Appreciation Thread

He did, in a completely different context. That would be worth bragging about, but instead Derek seems very proud of his unread DMs, which is a case of whatever floats his boat I suppose.

    The Official Dieworkwear Appreciation Thread

It would be funny if Giuliani actually responded. As is, it (and posting about it every 6 months) feels a little more akin to screaming at a brick wall and bragging about how much you owned said brick wall.

The Armoury - Official Affiliate Thread

I paid $650 for my MTM Rota trousers last fall. I hope it’s not $750 now.

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

I think the bigger problem with this outfit is less that it’s necessarily a suit without a tie, and moreso that it’s a suit with plain white dress shirt without a tie. Substituting the white spread collar shirt with some sort of patterned OCBD would make the tieless look a lot more palatable, at...

Dress Zip Boots: Why So Hard to Find?

“It’s not the 70s anymore” seems like a bizarre complaint in a period when Westernwear is more mainstream than ever and people under 30 are wearing bootcut jeans regularly.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

There’s an old chinese saying essentially amounting to “wealth doesn’t last for more than 3 generations”. This guy is a pretty good example of why.

They look like the Armoury's sport chinos, which are not quite bespoke, but still $325. So again, not quite the fairest comparison.

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

I’m all for inventive spins on black tie, but does it really count as black tie if the eponymous black tie is missing in the first place?

No I’m aware, I just thought it’d be really funny to put those 2 posts side by side.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

The big problem with the current Overseas is that it’s a gigantic brick of a watch. I hope you have huge wrists, and even then it may still look disproportionally large on you.

    Edward Green B/S/T official thread.

I would get it done through Edward Green regardless unless you have no interest whatsoever in the possibility of Edward Green ever recrafting or resoling your shoes.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Are you sure those Belravias are cordovan? As far as I know, the tassels on cordovan Belgravias aren't braided, they essentially look like Greenwiches.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Fiddleback waist in EG typically means that it’s a top drawer shoe, and the added arch support seems to imply that too. Although the E/OWN in the Last section seems to also imply this may be bespoke of some kind? Who knows.
