So, I hardly understand erotic watches in the first instance, but this one? Customer: "So, uh, Mr. Nardin - I want an amputee banging a woman on a sofa at 9:00, and at 3:00, I want a guy creeping through the curtains while he gets pegged and jerked off." Mr. Nardin: "And which one should...

I agree completely. He bought the Tiffany Patek when he was an analyst at Sothebys. I think he invested money into Mark Wahlberg’s company, Municipal.

Lol same guy who got the Tiffany Blue Nautilus at auction got the Patek Only Watch (and the Philippe Stern watch, for that matter):

Platinum Santos Dumont CPCP is at the top of my neovintage list. It is so ridiculously stealthy and 4mm thickness is so cool.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

For a while, I've been keeping some powder dry waiting for the "right" vintage watch. I've had pretty generous monetary parameters - something under $10k - but aside from that I have been all over the map in terms of what I have been looking at. I spent a lot of time thinking about early Heuer...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I agree with @Scuppers, I think the newer one is a wee bit too large. Still nice, I just prefer the older models. That is merely a matter of preference though. My bigger issue - and I say this with still digging the new one - it is really hard not to cross shop with vintage. This, for...

New Tudor BB Monochrome is great. Wears really nicely, albeit not as comfortable as the Sub. Thickness is somewhat noticeable, and bracelet to watch transition is clunkier than, say, a jubilee. But this is probably THE watch I would recommend sub-$5,000, particularly to a normie.
