I'm not surprised that getting the Delos interview was difficult. I couldn't even get to see him as a paying customer! An Arnault interview may be impossible, but he is more interesting as the heir apparent (though his sister is a supposedly potential rival). Sartori might be interesting nonetheless.

I look forward to seeing the interview with Paone.

Running a business empire and having taste are two separate matters entireley. I would assume SF'ers like myself are more interested in reading comments by CD's than CEO's.

I once heard the father make a presentation about the industry, it was utterly lacking in usefulness and insight. On the other hand, I've heard extremely insightful comments from CD's, Lagerfeld and Ford for example, about the business aspects of luxury.

Not sure where Paone would sit along that continuum line between McKinsey and Warhol. Would be very interesting indeed to find out.

Yeah, I've seen other CEOs speak so much about nothing that I believe it is a deliberately acquired skill. I imagine anything interesting will have to be off-the-record.

A good read, one of the better pitti overviews I have come across. You notice the craze in mirrored frames this year
