To follow up re the jacket I bought (this one: https://www.olderbest.com/collections/denim-jackets)...

First impressions are that it’s well made. Time will tell, but there are no red flags. I certainly like the look of the piece, which is exactly as advertised.

The cut is a little unusual, but it was advertised as "short-cut", so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I’m 5’9" and bought the largest size they produce (a 44), and I wouldn’t want it any shorter. I’d tend to go for a 46, but that wasn’t an option. I was encouraged by the information that the "intentionally larger cut on the body and sleeves accommodates thicker layers underneath". I can’t say the cut on the body is large; I won’t be able to wear anything thicker than a shirt underneath it, but I guess that makes it a good option for springtime. The cut on the arms, however, is very generous. I could do a trillion bicep curls and still have plenty of room.

For £150, with free and prompt shipping, it’s good value. It certainly looks like it cost significantly more.

I bought a raglan coat off them recently. Incredibly well made. I'm no expert, but I think, for the durability/material/cut, you'd be looking at something costing at least 2-3 x as much over here. Incredible value. I've also been very impressed with their customer service. No hassle returns and also on hand to check sizes/offer advice.
