The neocork will be fine in winter, and more comfortable than commando. If you’re set on changing them, you definitely need to take the neocork off. I think Aram charges around 280 or so to replace with commando- CLH03

Hard to find, and most stores will only put you on a waitlist if you have a purchase history. However, there are certainly some places that will just put you on the list if you ask.- CLH03
