What would be sportcoat cloth equivalent of the 12/13oz formal worsteds suitings? No woollen cloth or w/s/l as the former is rather wintery and the latter summery in terms of texture despite some examples might have the same weight. Was thinking of the worsted alsport and equivalent but their...

The buttonhole thing depends on the tailor. DBs nornally have buttonholes on both lapels but I have seem both. The best charcoal chalkstripe flannel out there, for me, it’s not the Fox but the Harrisons. I have swatches of both and you should do the same before ordering:

The one from Casalnuovo. The one from always in via chiaia 197 doesn’t travel, besides our friends @C&A, @P-K-L, Conchita Wurst and maybe selected others, he has mostly napoletani and italian friend customers.

Technically more MTO than bespoke but I believe you will like it. Saic Firenze briefcase in a leather than in terms of texture resembles Russian leather albeit lighter.

The Minnis is woollen cashmere and it is woven by Joshua Ellis. It is spongey. The Harrisons is worsted, much lighter and silkier in hand.

My Neapolitan bespoke cotton suit from Iorio is one of my favourites. Circa 260g tan cotton twill. It wrinkles a lot but feels featherweight and the handmade details shine in this cloth. Rustic beauty I guess.
