I had a brand of Korean corn chips yesterday but I don't remember what they were and IIRC they were all in Korean. Anyway they were more sweet than savory and the back it was translated as "cookies". They weren't sweet enough nor had the right base to be cookies so I have to admit that I don't think that was the proper translation. To know for sure would need the expertise of @Ataturk.

Had these with lunch. They were good. At first I thought they weren't crispy enough--I definitely prefer crispiness with chips. But there was enough crisp that when mixed with the chew it seemed to be the right balance for the potatoes. The flavoring was such that I couldn't taste the potato that much but they were certainly a good vehicle. Flavor wise they were good. Not spicy per se, but almost an elevated palate. Probably the only way to make a "spicy" mass-market chip. I really wish I could have gotten more potatoness because it's a different type of potato than grown in the U.S.

All together probably a 4/5 or 8/10.

But what would you give them out of 20 or 100?

Went to the Japanese grocery store got a few bags of chips.

A vaguely pizzaesque flavor at the start. Very little flavor overall. A pretty standard chip not worthy of the noble title of this thread.

Yo. These things legit taste like takoyaki. Some inconsistent flavorings but they get it as right as possible. No risk of burning your mouth off with molten octopus (at once a benefit and a weakness). Not a potato chip but still very good.

chip like, in a Cheetos form. Has a light, sweet, honey coating that gives these a pastry like taste. Reminds me of a pastry from my youth. I like these.

Bought the Carolina Kettle brand of chips last week from a fancy butcher.

The crab boil flavor was pure old bay. You know at the end of eating snow crab you're like this was a bit too salty? That was the salt level. Really was eating a good crab boil.

The bbq flavor was just a smokier version of regular bbq chips.

Probably not worth the cost but good.

we don't know yet how they are. There's a crew interested, but time of covid of course makes it hard to share and properly analyze.
