We've got a new preorder project for our Doyle jacket. It closes Thursday 1/11, and we'll deliver it around the end of February. This denim is a fantastic blend of 65% cotton and 35% silk. Each jacket costs a total of $235, with a $125 deposit now, and a $110 balance upon delivery

We're thrilled to present one of our most exciting preorder projects yet: the Doyle jacket in this incredible blended indigo denim. Between today and Tuesday 1/11, you can preorder any size with a $125 deposit. Your jacket will be ready around the end of February... perfect timing for its Spring transitional weight.
Ultrafleck denim is a straight-up amazing fabric. It's woven in a blend of 65% cotton and 35% silk. The cotton is a mixture of indigo and natural yarns - which is typical for denim - and the silk is used for the neppy "flecks" that run throughout the weave. The result is a complex donegal-like texture that is visually stunning.
As you might expect, the silk content also gives this cloth an extremely soft hand. Even raw and unwashed, this is one of the softest denims that you'll ever touch. After some wash and use, it will be absolutely sublime. The silk imparts a very subtle sheen as well, which allows this piece to be easily dressed up. We shot the sample with both chinos and hopsack dress trousers, and it works effortlessly with both.
The weight is 12oz, which is about the weight of a typical jean. It's appropriate for 4-season wear, fully machine washable (cold wash, hang dry), and quite strong. No special care is needed... this is a denim after all! This piece is perfect for early Spring transitional temps, but will be wearable all year long in most climates. We have enough stock to make approximately 60 units in total.
