I dont know if it does or doesnt exist. Cant explain why I like the show but I'm fascinated by the hunt.

I think so. I dont want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but there have been thousands and thousands of signtings of this animal. I'd love to see it proven, but I'm not convinced either. I just note that it wasnt until the 60's that mountain gorillas were proven to exist.

If its real, its believed to be smarter, solitary and more elusive than a gorilla. Its also believed to be aware of humans and stays away. Look how long it took to see a live giant squid.

There are vids and photos out there. None are conclusive. Problem is the lol factor of it. If a dragnet type scientific effort was put in it would help but scientists are sensitive about the humiliation.

Try to snap a cell phone photo of an 10 foot monster when you are suddenly in fear of your life. If real, that thing covers ground, in 2 steps its across a road or within enough tree cover to make everyone question a pic. Its not known to cover open ground, and also nocturnal. All this makes it very hard to get some conclusive proof. When one is seen, its usually by chance and disappears immediately.

There are reports of hunters shooting at one, but most report being terrified and splitting or just blown away by what they saw.

Haven't seen the show, I hope they find it though. I'd definitely watch it then.

I'm of the opinion the existence of a breeding population of an intelligent, nocturnal great ape hiding in the millions of square km of USA wilderness is not impossible. There's more evidence for bigfoot (footprints and trails, let alone all the sighting reports) than for many dinosaurs accepted by mainstream science.

Some Russian soldiers found a feral man in a cave during WW2. The thought it was a bear and shot it when it charged out of the cave.
