Hi all, this is my first post here.
I am looking to replace the backpack I have used since high school to use as a daily driver to college/around town/etc. I want something that I can carry with a handle mainly, as I think it looks better and so it doesn't ruin my suits when I wear them.
I am in tailoring more than the average college student as I am the president of the business fraternity here, and I am often dressed up more so than the average college student in general, so my backpack is not up to par.
I have kind of narrowed down my search to either a briefcase of some sort or a leather tote. These are kind of the opposite ends of the spectrum, but I can't stand messenger bags and I like the look of these two the most. I like this tote from RLPL a whole lot, but it is a little more than I want to spend (although I get a good employee discount from a friend). I also have been looking at older Hermes models, as well as Frank Clegg for briefcases. I also really love this briefcase from Brunello Cucinelli, but I would highly prefer something with a shoulder strap so I have that option.
I am beginning to feel that I am looking for something too specific: formal, but not too formal, shoulder strap, highest quality possible, minimal but not too minimal, brown, a tote but not a tote, a briefcase but not a briefcase, etc.
Please help lol
