That is so awesome! I guess sometimes it helps to reach out to the boss! I'll place the order and pm you. Thank you!You could certainly place the order for the wickett and I can change it to the thurman. I'm also hopeful we'll have more Thurman options up this week.
Speaking of Thurman boots, I had placed an order for an MTO pair back in August of last year. I believe then the lead time was 18 weeks. How are things looking right now with production times? You could certainly place the order for the wickett and I can change it to the thurman. In general, we are around 23 but it's different for different leathers. Feel free to shoot me your order number and I can check it out.Speaking of Thurman boots, I had placed an order for an MTO pair back in August of last year. I believe then the lead time was 18 weeks. Hi, they are rivets. I don’t know about us changing them but that’s a good idea for the future@Nicks Boots Shuyler - I was wondering if the straps here: https://nicksboots.com/pioneer-duffle/ use rivets or Chicago screws on the straps. and if rivets, is that something that you could have changed in house? I have done it (remove rivets and change to Chicago screws). but I am willing to bet that your set up and in house expertise is about 10000% better than my set of not great tools and worse abilities.
Yeah - Chicago screws are not only more durable, but they are easily replaceable. I know that some brands like Yuketen use the rivets for historical accuracy, but the heaviness of the leather can make the rivets subject to failure. It happened to a bag of mine unfortunately, that used heavy saddle leather (I would guess about 10 ounces.)Hi, they are rivets. Sorry to hear that. They are a pattern inspired by the classic Knapp engineer boots so are different from the other pull ons. I haven’t heard this before for what it’s worth and we’ve made a decent amount. Happy to exchange them. Finally got my Murowski boots yesterday and can't pull them on. The shaft seems a lot smaller than my Renegades. I have a pair of Lucchese I could never pull on for the same issue and that have been sitting in a box for two years. Did you guys use die's from a cowboy boot brand to cut them?
Hi, you should get a 7EHello everyone,
I have a question about sizing:
I have a pair of Nicks (HNW Last) in size 7.5 D. The width in this size is just right, but the length is a half size too long.
Can you tell me in which width I should order my next pair of Nicks in size 7.0 so that I have the width of 7.5 D?
Many thanks for your support!
