Dear sweet "oldtimers" and experts, my first question popped up...

Has anyone of you seen this label or a similar one? And could it possibly indicate a pure Vicuna item?

Thanks for your help and opinions,
Simon

Not sure that I understand your question. The label indicates 100% Pure Vicuña. I have no idea if the label is original to the garment it’s attached to, however.

Thanks for your response. I saw a coat with this label for sale on the web but I was unsure because the price was really low and the coat was black (I read that dying is not very good for this super delicate fibre). Nonetheless it was sold super quickly for nothing and I got curious. I posted my question and started a quick research and found out that a member here on SF tried to sell a similar coat (I saw it on Ebay too) with the same label, but like for 14000 bucks or sth like that.
Well it remains a mystery but it's ok. The other coat is no longer listed here or on Ebay, otherwise I would have asked the seller about a small label, provenance etc.
