That David Pye article is excellent and highly relevant. It was required reading in a grad school course, and has stuck with me ever since. Thanks for bringing it into the discussion here.

It was recommended to me by an instructor just last year. I felt like several light bulbs went on for me while I read it. I saved a few passages that particularly struck me.
