New Vegas was probably my favorite Fallout. My problem with 4 is the factions seemed to have very clear dividing lines on morality.
NV is much better than either 3 or 4. Different studio and mindset. No question it's better.

As a warning...the Interplay Fallouts from the 90s are very opaque. And very violent. (They all are, but for example in the new ones the kids are invulnerable. They def arent in the old one). And old looking and isometric and turn based. Not sure a modern teen could appreciate.

I jumped back into FO4 last night after not playing it in almost 10 years. I only played the main story but I must have paid for all the future DLC's so it updated with huge amount of unexplored territory and storylines. Took a bit of time to remember where I stashed all my good weapons and armor but once I found it, it was a blast.

It was also interesting to see how far graphics have improved since 2015. Looking at the character's faces in FO4 vs something like Starfield is wild.

I'm still on my Cyberpunk kick. This time I'm doing a Sandevistan build with the male V so I can bang Kerry Eurodyne since it turns out he's gay.

Also Panam Palmer is a much better romance option than Judy Alvarez.

Picked up a Quest 2 on ebay so I can finally play Half Life Alyx (and try out other VR stuff).

Unfortunately the seller screwed up (or tried to scam me) and sent a 64gb unit instead of the 256gb I thought I had gotten a great deal on by sniping an auction with an odd ending time...

But actually playing around with it for a bit was pretty fun. Way more immersive than the phone-based VR I have used before.

Has me considering ordering a Quest 3 instead if the price gap wasn't so big. You can find 128gb Quest 2s for $150 or less all day which seems dirt cheap for what it can do.

No, but I've seen it in the phone based Daydream VR...at the very least it is a pretty novel experience and I'm sure that on these better devices (and with several years for the studios to learn how to make better VR content) it is probably some next level ****.

Another reason why the 64gb model is dumb...(and probably why they promptly stopped making it and made 128gb the base model)

I need to get back into BG3. Was enjoying it but ran into the problem I knew I would. I just don’t want to mess around gaming on my laptop after working on a laptop all day. Might try to AirPlay it from my MBP to TV and see how that goes.
