I have a friend who is a Barmaid. proper milfy. she had dreams back in the day of being a popstar. had the skills too. she has that voice, that only comes from years of crushing the limelight in dim Bars. she is a Gem. the talent only a few will know. but to the few, she has "it". the star that has passed by, but still burns. this is her Jam:

a few years ago, The Kings of Leon had an album. that set the bar high for them. a band called "Radwimps" is having a similar moment. OMG they have a sound. do me, and yourself a favor. put the headphones in.take a deep breath, push play, and close your eyes. wait for the waves, that ebb and flow.

the other side of their sound, is the song of the moment right now. fast paced, and melodic. with a nod to the origins of music itself. helps if you start clapping at 3 minutes in.

not sure if anybody will ever follow this thread, but i hope to create a magical musical journey. that we can all contribute to and share. this is what i bring. please enjoy.

I tend to listen to different stuff depending on the season, as I'm sure a lot of you do. Dinosaur Jr. is one of my winter listening bands. Dark skies and cold weather just fits the overall mood of their music for me. Heavy rotation lately.

was driving in Tokyo Traffic. and this came on the radio. made me down shift, hit the powerband, and smoke all 4 tires. consequently driving like a hooligan. when i hit the Track, and am chasing a laptime? this has the tempo. Moms in their 20's represent.
