Cheap leather shoes from Yoox..Good deal or not?

Hey guys, I have been browsing around Yoox for awhile and I noticed an abundance of final sales going on. Most of which are just the "ghost brands" that Yoox manufactures or that nobody has ever heard about. Anways, I want to know if they are worth purchasing. They seem like decent quality ...these are 2 i am looking at

Well. the second one is a Yoox house brand, the other is an independent company. I have no idea of the quality, but there are tons of cheap, blake stitched shoes of dubious quality that are made in Italy. "Made in Italy" was, and continues to be, an incredibly successful campaign, but the fact is that for every one really great Italian company, there are a dozen companies that produce crap.

There is zero possibility of telling "quality" from an online product shot, good or bad. At the end of the day, you have to rely on a brand's reputation and track record. It's hard to argue against $47 for new leather-soled shoes (Leonard Principi). If the size is right.

The shoes with the white soles look terrible. The other purchase is okay, but the shoes aren't as versatile as the Leonard Principi would be.

Both look good with dark wash slim fit jeans and that is what I bought them for....would these shoes look good with khakis and blue chinos?

Depends on the shirt, hairstyle, etc. If the rest of the style says office, the shoes wouldn't work.

To repeat, the shoes with the white soles, assuming they have the black uppers pictured, look terrible. Frankenshoes. Jeans cannot save them.

Better than the black/white shoes? Yes. But the sole is still too athletic-looking and not really compatible with any style of clothing (except maybe security). Items get severely discounted for a reason.

The quality of Leonardo Principi shoes is actually very very low. Cheap materials and deficient technology. Returned my deficient pair.
