The only shell boots I have ever had that squeak are my Alden ones. The creakiest boots that ever creaked, but man they’re pretty.

Nothing trumps an actual try on but the LHS being on Van last typically requires a 1/2 size down from Brannock (or your true to size).Hi all,
I picked up a pair of black calfskin loafers on the Copley last in size 8.5D. They fit and look great but of course instead of placating my loafer itch now I want a pair of the LHS in color 8 cordovan. I'm not quite on the budget to get them new anytime soon so I'm hoping to go the Ebay/SF buy & sell route. I was thinking of just going with another 8.5D but realized that the LHS is on the Van last and have heard cordovan doesn't stretch like calfskin does. So, I was wondering if anyone on the thread has any sizing advice.
Thanks in advance!
