I'm not a beer snob or microbrew kind of fellow, so I stick to more mainstream beers 95% of the time. There's a brewery 850 steps from my front door that I drink at, but they don't distribute a whole heck of a lot outside my area code, so I won't even mention those.

For the most part, I'm a Pilsner pansy. Stella is my usual, but I'll also drink Pilsner Urquell and Warsteiner, DAB is another one I drink pretty regularly, since there's a cash-only tavern down the road that has it on tap for dirt cheap. Modelo of some variety is usually in my fridge for a good chunk of the summer.

So, really nothing to write home about, or anything that will inspire anyone to go out and drink it. I'm a simple man with simple tastes.

Right on my nasty Brother!

I've been a wino most of my life, but beer has never been on my radar.

My Lady Friend is part of the St. Arnold bike team and she has recently introduced me to many craft beers from several companies.

The bar always has Modelo and it is high on my list when we are there (shooting pool b@tches).

I have fallen in love with IPA beers.

The St. Arnold Banger and
the Voodo Ranger are by far my favorite craft beers.

Weatherproof chili Higgins Mill boots right before the rain really kicked in.

I'm generally not one to promote other brands on this thread, but given their history together and certain "shared" lasts, I'll make an exception here. I know there are a number of you folks who are clamoring for a good olive footwear. This announcement from Rancourt may scratch a couple of olive itches. Hoping, at some point, this option makes its way to AE, as it looks pretty cool.

I agree these look very cool. I recently had some issues with Rancourt. Not going to rehash here but anyone that’s interested can go see my posts in the Rancourt thread. Not sure I would buy from them again.

Totally get it. Bummer that you had that happen. With that being said, I'd also point out that I had my first purchase from them less than a year ago during one of their crowd-sourcing pre-purchase sales and everything went smoothly from start to finish, even when I pivoted after my initial purchase and changed the color (they opened a 2nd round in the color I preferred about 48 hours after I completed my purchase).

So, no idea what the experience here would hold for anyone. But, like with most shoe manufacturers, there's potential for both good and bad experiences. Everyone's mileage will vary.

So true, as I discovered with AE recently. Mostly great experiences with AE when we still had Charleston. I've only had one experience with Rancourt so far, and it was good.

These are an incredible find for you 9 D guys (if anyone still needs a formal dress shoe):
