As humorous as I find the theories, there really is no great secret. I started collecting around 2013, and it’s just a matter of checking eBay frequently, being able to identify quality shoes, and being flexible on size. At 32, virtually every shoe in my collection is older than me, so I’m not the original owner of any of them.

These are VCleat's watchlist and I was thinking of pulling the trigger except for the fact that these are not actually goodyear welted. Additionally, the soles appear to be synthetic. Pass!
