Managed to pick up this seasons navy Mock Leno sportcoats from both S&M and Natalino. First time ordering from Natalino so was exited to see how they compare. Both sportcoats are nicely finished and stylistically they are somewhat similar. The Natalino sportcoat has slightly wider lapels, and a slightly higher gorge height. Both have 3 roll 2 lapels & spalla camicia shoulders. I would say the shoulder appears to "puff out" more on the Natalino, making the shoulder more pronounced. Arm holes are also higher on the Natalino. Fabric appears to be the same on both jackets. The Natalino sportcoat is half lined, whereas the S&M sportcoat is quarter lined, which to me is preferable for a summer jacket. I ordered the same size from both (contemporary 40L from S&M and a 50L from Natalino). The Natalino is significantly roomier all around, whereas the S&M feels a little trim on me. Overall I think I have a slightly preference for the Natalino based on the fit/proportions, however I do unfortunately seem to have a slight roll just behind the collar on the Natalino jacket, so perhaps the S&M is better suited for my posture.
