Please share where you got your Masters degree in Law, what you were specialising in and has studying an LL.M paid off, etc (in terms of teaching law, practicing tax law, and so on)?

My impression was that the degree itself is pretty useless except for the networking opportunities being in school provides. Would be happy to be corrected though. Also, I assume this thread is for American JDs.

A friend of mine got his at NYU and learned a lot. Now does M&A for Holland & Knight.
